About Enrico Gregoratto

I was born in Italy but have spent a good part of my life in Africa (Zimbabwe in particular) and more recently in the United Kingdom. I currently live in Bristol, a lively city in the South West of England.

My interest in photography started at an early age, having received my first camera as a gift from my parents when I was just 10. The seed was sown, but my love for photography went through a lull until about 2004 when I bought my first digital SLR, a Canon EOS 300D. In late 2004 I went to see Earth From The Air, an exhibition of stunning large scale landscape photographs taken by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The images on display inspired me and rekindled my interest in photography.

However, it was not until October 2006, when I discovered the Bristol Photographic Society, that my passion for photography really took off. I joined BPS later that month and have been trying to improve my photography week in, week out, ever since. This website serves as an outlet for my rekindled passion for the art of photography.
